Fundraising
Thank you to all of our donors! We're now 1/3
of the way to our goal of $35,000 needed to build our boathouse!
The ISU Crew Club is a student run club sport that operates under the
Recreational Sports department at ISU. As such, we receive no
funding from Iowa State University itself. Our funding comes
from
$150 in dues from each member per year, fundraisers and Government of
the Student Body allocations. These sources of income provide
enough to run the club but leave little to purchase new equipment.
Boathouse Project
The club is currently raising funds to complete the boathouse project
started in 2004. So far, we have raised approximately $10,000
with an ultimate goal of $35,000. We expect to be able to
build
a rudimentary facility with this amount consisting of a 40 foot x 80
foot prefabricated metal building, cement slab and racks for
the
shells.
If you would be interested in helping the club establish itself with
this critical piece of infrastructure, please contact us! We
would love to discuss corporate sponsorships, in kind donations of
construction services as well as personal donations.
How to donate
directly online
You may make donations to the Crew Club directly through the
ISU Foundation online! Many employers will match all or part of a
donation to higher education institutions, please check with your
employer if they have such a program.
To make a contribution to the club online with your credit card simply
follow these instructions:
- Open the Gift online link below (it will open in a
new window).
- Check only the "Other (Not Listed)" box.
- Copy and Paste the following into the text box:

- Choose your gift amount.
- Then follow the remainder of the steps on the
Foundation website.

Rent-A-Rower
We also have a rent-a-rower program that has proven to be a success
over several years. We have received high marks for our hard
work
and professionalism by companies that have utilized our service.
