Crew Club

About us...

The club is open to full time students, faculty and staff of Iowa State University.  We are a competitive rowing team that practices 4-6 times per week depending on the season.  We compete against other collegiate clubs and varsity programs in the midwest.  Our travels take us from Madison, WI to Wichita, KS to Rockford, IL as well as other destinations.

The club currently owns two 8 oared shells and one 4 oared shell, 20 oars, and a trailer to transport it all.  

The club is currently in the process of building a boathouse on the Des Moines River.  During this time the club has a temporary home at Big Creek State Park thanks to the generosity of Mr. Mark Crawford, owner of   Big Creek Marina.
